We provide a specialist mental health service to children and young people across Norfolk and Waveney.
If you are a young person and clicking on this website then you will be able to access information that could help you improve your mental health. You might be looking at this website because you have noticed that your behaviour or emotions are unpredictable, things are not making sense, or that no one understands you? Or, it could be that you are not sleeping properly, you have a loss of appetite or are feeling anxious – any of these feelings are difficult to understand and to make sense of. The information on this page will re-enforce the message that you are not alone in feeling like this.
We have been helping young people who have had similar feelings, or who are in a similar situation, to overcome their troubles and fears for many years. Our staff are here for you to talk to in a friendly and comfortable situation.
Bad feelings and difficult situations can affect anyone. They can make you feel sad and worried, angry and stressed. Life often becomes tough for a while, but learning how to cope is an important skill we all need to have, and we can learn these skills if we don’t have them. If life was perfect all the time then we’d never develop coping skills, or learn and understand what makes us feel better. So dealing with one problem can help us learn how to manage other problems as they crop up, as we then know what works for us.
We work and guide you on how you can make a different life for yourself, and we share with you the tools and skills on how to do it. We aim to give you back control of your life.
